I know myself to well, if I don't write down some of this I will forget, and these women are too important for me to forget details. Perhaps I should just start at the beginning, since that is when this all started. Das Influent, Left Hand of Mundus
Age: Unknown, estimated at under one full century
Race: Elf
Relationship: Best friend
" An odd one, this Das. Raised by humans, she was initially unlearned of any typical elven customs. Lothoir, a priest whom I have not seen in many months now, was able to teach her the basics of elven faith. Initially, a romantic interest for myself, it was soon learned that similar feelings did not exist on her end, and romantic pursuits were ceased. I took to watching out for this one, she seemed to be both naive and accident prone. Eventually she proved to be consorting with that which will remain unnamed, and I could no longer keep to the tenants of my faith, for fear of harming her as well. Instigated the change to my personality and outlook that resulted in my current attire and mission. Arcane powers are formidable, if limited, seems unable to use simple divination magics. She was able to reverse the curse that was placed on my person, resulting in her being promoted in the ranks of the Hands to that of a "magus". Future goals unknown. I'm allowing her to make me an outfit similar to one of her own, as repayment for reversing my curse. She loves to make outfits for people, especially me.
A note is added recently to this file.
Her ties to the one I will refer to as "That man" have brought her much grief, and has caused her to betray many of the traditions held most dear to our elven culture. Even if she had the power, she would never oppose That Man, indeed, I suppose should a confrontation happen between That Man and myself with her present, I would find myself having to combat two wizards, Although not beyond my abilities, I would not be able to harm the one wizard, so I would surely have to flee. I have said many harsh things to her, things I regret having said. I believe, in order to keep from losing my sanity, I may have to request she free me from my servitude to her. I will think on this matter further, and ensure she never is able to read this file again, until such time as I can determine what path our lives will travel, either alongside one another as friends, or if I must divest myself from her company forever.Last edited by Torgar; 12-06-2010, 05:58 PM.Tigen Amastacia: Died in events so you didn't have to.

Mara Brinsbane, Priestess of the Red Knight, and member of the Red Blades
Age: Unknown, estimated to be in her mid-twenties
Race: Human
Relationship: Confidant and closest human friend
" A powerful priestess and a formidable swordswoman, Mara excels in the face of adversity. When it was time for Mirakus to be retaken, I knew she would be one of our strongest assets in the fights there. Compassionate to a fault, she will go out of her way to help someone in need, if it is within her power. I met Mara shortly after arriving in Sundren, and she was the first human I did not immediately hate. Something about her would stay my tongue. Perhaps it was her sense of duty and desire to better herself and improve the world around her, a trait I had thought lacking in humans as a race. It is due to my involvement with this woman that I came into contact with she who is the love I have always sought, Elandra. After my first transformation, she became my most loyal ally, beginning to confide in me with her worries and her dreams. If things had worked out differently for both of us, we might perhaps be together as me and Elandra are now, but that is conjecture at this point. We are both very close to one another, trusting each other completely. She enjoys relaxing at a table, ale in hand, perhaps due to her dalliance with the married dwarf back in her home town. I often have enjoyed sitting with her, drinking my wine, trading stories and always striving to brighten her spirits if she is sad, as she does for me when I am in a similar state. Although of a different race, I consider her like an older sister to me, although I am more then a century her senior. She does not wish children, but I know the truth of the matter is that she is mother to many of the common folk here in the valley, and we all would be lost without her to guide us. I love this black haired woman, in red armor with the weight of the world on her shoulders, and I will always do my best to see that she finds the happiness she has helped me find. On a side note, I dislike her meeting with Cirion, whom I still distrust from previous events where I've had to deal with him. However, I will abstain from interfering, as Mara seems to enjoy his attentions on her person, and her happiness takes precedence of my dislike of him. If he can prove to finally be true to his word, I will simply leave him be, but if he is proven to be a liar again, Mara has assured me she will deal with him personally, and I have full faith that she will do so.Tigen Amastacia: Died in events so you didn't have to.

Amilynn Steles, High priestess of Sune
Age unknown, estimated early twenties
Race: Human with fey features
Relationship: Friend
I originally befriended Ami with the intention of simply expanding my network of contacts. As a priestess of Sune, and the lover of the leader of the Corps de Grace, I assumed she would provide me access to resources I would need to combat the ever growing undead threat. Perhaps not an admirable goal, but we all do what we must. I quickly learned there was more to this woman then I could have ever thought. Perhaps it is the partial feyness of her personality, perhaps it's her otherworldly beauty, whichever, I found it hard not to offer aid when she needed it. This would also be where I would come into contact with the vampiric version of Ruby. Amilynn has trouble distancing herself emotionally from Cirion, despite repeated instances of disloyalty to her. After the last incident with Ruby and the Wyntir estate, it seemed that she and Cirion were no longer together, but I have since learned her reason for trying to form a bond between Mara and a to remain unnamed male was to stop the bond forming between Mara and Cirion so that Ami could get back with Cirion herself.
Perhaps the oddest part of her personality is her penchant for lying to those close to her. I once died helping her with a problem involving Ruby and Cirion, and she later lied to me about the events surrounding it. Most, if not all of this, can probably be attributed to her fey-like tendencies. Her attachment to Cirion can only be described as either a love of punishment, or a true testament that love makes us forgive anything, I've yet to determine which. Now she works on a cure for the curse of vampirism, of which I will be little help with. Perhaps for the best, as I'm not sure how close I wish to stay with one who has so many undependable tendencies.Tigen Amastacia: Died in events so you didn't have to.

Nati Solana, Monk and arcanist
Age unknown, estimated mid-twenties
Race: Human
Relationship: Good Friend
I didn't really get to know this distant-seeming woman until recently. I had always assumed her to just be uncaring of others plights, unless it somehow directly affected her. I have since come to realize why she always seemed so cold. It was a defense mechanism, a way to keep others from getting too close. She has recently started letting her guard down, and letting some people into her personal life, and I have learned of a great and terrible pain in her past. Six years ago, she became pregnant, and was very happy. However, the father of the child flew into a rage and pushed her down some stairs, causing her to lose the child and she seems to be currently infertile. Her infertility however, may have something to do with the amount of stress she puts her body through, with her training and with events in the valley that have involved her. Her parents died shortly thereafter, during the Bloodmaim assault on the stand, that resulted in the devastation that now surrounds the stand. Nati then found herself awash in pain, and was approached by a priestess of a to remain unnamed deity, who converted her to her faith and aided her in visiting retribution on the man who caused the loss of her unborn child and was the cause of her infertility. The details of this vengeance are gruesome and unimportant for this document, but suffice it to say after six years of his suffering, Nati has seen fit to reverse what she has done to him. My initial appraisal of this woman were wrong. She is a very strong soul, who has simply endured far more pain then any single individual should while still so young. I have sworn myself to her cause, and will do what I can to find a way to reverse her infertility. She deserves to have a family, and I believe she would make an excellent mother. Her empathy towards others is truly astounding to me, and I do not believe that her infertility is incurable. Further study will be needed on this woman, as the extent of her arcane powers are not known to me completely.
A further note is added at the end, recently written in.
I find myself oddly surprised that in my journey to study this human, to cure her problem, that I have indeed fallen in love with her. Her quiet beauty and strong determination have won my heart over, and I find myself feeling a peace with her I did not have before. She is open with me in all things, even those she knows would bring me pain or grief, because she trusts me. As said, her problem is not incurable, I believe now it was a result of the extreme training she put herself through every day, and the poor diet she maintained. As she now only improves her arcane powers, and eats far better, her body has had time to recover from the extensive stress placed on it. It may take years before she is able to bear children as easily as any other woman, but I feel that it is within reach. I promised her I would see her raising children of her own, have the family she was denied by a fearful, foolish man. I do not know what the future holds, but if it ends up that "I" am the one to give her that family, that it is "our" children she is to bear and raise, that "I" am to be her mate in her life, then I venture towards this scenario gladly.Last edited by Torgar; 12-06-2010, 05:52 PM.Tigen Amastacia: Died in events so you didn't have to.
