Da won't believe me....he thinks I just nicked the scroll from master Rodwick...
Elves...who'd a thought elves would talk to me? And be nice to me!
I'd heard they were distant and such, being all royalty would do that I suppose...Lord Garion was nice tho.
But Da won't believe that an elf Lord gave me a scroll! He even said I had potential! Didn't say for what, exactly....but that's got to mean something, coming from an elf...
Met that nice girl this morning, what was her name, Roe? Strange girl....seemed to love making fun of me...maybe she likes me....no...I'm not popular or good with words like Lukas...bet he doesn't have any trouble with women....
Oh! And there were three of the most beautiful women I've ever seen today! There was the red-haired elf lady, with the....interesting candies.....*ink blots here*....and the white haired lady with the feathers, and the orange-haired lady who kept arguing with that, what was it, Talosian? She seemed to be a Sunite....no surprise from looking at her, or her two friends...Heh.....if I have no chance with Roe, I've definately no chance with any of them...they'd probably never look twice at some poor farm boy...ah well...I can dream...
I didn't manage to get a giant rat body to take to Master Pindleton at the University tommorow...maybe all my notes on elven interaction will make up for it...Really fascinating how they tug each others ears in greeting...must remember to mention that in class....Oh, and that one elf's formal way of speaking Common, very sophisticated..maybe I should try it sometime......You, speaking to am I.....nah..sounds better when he says it....I just sound like an idiot....*a doodle of a man in a jesters outfit*....the blue elf lady seems to lead the others..what was her name? Lady Maia? Or was it Priestess Maia? I'll have to ask Lord Garion if I see him again...Oh, and she cast the most amazing spell on me! It made my skin as hard as wood for quite a while...I wonder if I can do that....probably if I had it written out...I'm always better with scrolls than learning it by heart....
Met that....drow...today when I went to see Master Rodwick...scared the spit out of me....thought he was gonna try and eat me or something the way he kept grinning....but Master Rodwick seemed alright with him...and he did seem friendly...what did he say his name was...Nice or something?...strange name.....oh hells...what did he tell me about the drow? something about house Resser cress or something like that...said they were slavers and marauders and such..I'd tell Da, but if he doesn't believe me about the elves, he'll never believe me about a drow....
Ah well...need to go feed Bella, or she'll claw me in my sleep, the little minx....hope tommorow is as interesting as today was....
