  • Lucien Aers' Book of Lawgiving

As a cleric of Tyr Lucien always carries a thick tome in which he transcribes all enforcements of law as well run-ins with the less lawful elements of society. The contents of the book are freely shared with the local Tyrran church so that the cleric's own actions can be judged, as well as ensuring that any criminals granted a second chance will become known to other clerics and paladins, and thus unable to exploit their goodwill.

Any character that could reasonably have access to the Book of Lawgiving in the Triumvirate would also have full knowledge of everything transcribed in this thread. If in doubt ask a DM. Also, assume the dates in here are converted into Faerunian time.

Lucien's book is new and bright blue. An ornamental metal shield embossed with the image of a golden set of scales resting atop the head of a warhammer takes up the vast majority of the cover. Other than that listed here the pages are blank and the body text written in Common. In the margins are relevant prayers to Tyr written in Celestial.

Left the Viridale Border Post in the company of three others. Came across a magus that warded himself with many powerful spells. No less than ten minutes had passed before he came running back, out of breath. After calming him he reported being surrounded by four 'druids' in his words, each of which were covered in an animalistic veil his magical sight was able to pierce. Unfortunately his own magics were likewise seen through-invisibility, I am inferring from his speech. One of the creatures, possibly druids, then 'chittered' at him threateningly (his own words). At this point the magus retreated. He gave me the name Kalifer, but admitted he had never been attacked by the druids, although an unverifiable of his Exigo affiliates have been.

During the investigation one of my companions, Myreais, made many frequent insults toward the mage. After repeated askings to refrain from badgering the witness I informed him to either hold his tongue or leave on penalty of being brought in for hindering an active investigation. He then finished his tantrum with a rant showcasing his complete lack of understanding as to Sundren laws and left for the border post. Later that night he and a companion displayed prejudices against an annoyingly cheerful elven woman. Myreais and his companion are both humans.
