After returning from an eventful night of Veritas slaying Syne returns to her room at the hidden temple and looks around as if lost. She mechanically undresses and slips under the sheets her eyes beginning to water as she lays there her hair unbound. Thoughts of the past race through her head, of the life she had, of her friends, and mostly of the love she will never have again. This goes on for hours, the tears welling up and spilling over, before she finally falls asleep, Murmuring one word that seems to float on the winds that are blowing through her balcony door. Ares
