  • Teaching a old dwarf new tricks

Quietly gromlin climbs the stairs leading to the Thayan conclave, its beasts guarding the outside door, a few mages speaking outside in hush tones.
Making his way too Aquor Gromlin had to decide how he was going to get the information from the thayans. After all they were some of the leaders in Golem crafting within the region. If he was to learn what he would need, surely they would have the ability to teach him.

As he reached the main entrence to the thayan enclave he waited outside for permission too go within. Keeping his eyes streight and on his prize , gromlin focused on keeping his attention too one thing; and one thing only. Speak with who ever was in charge of the Craftsmanship when it came too golem's.

Thinking ahead of time Gromlin had grabbed a large sack of money too keep as a payment for the information he hoped too gain. The thayans would not give there knowledge away freely if they would give it at all.

Eventually The guards after searching gromlin thoroughly ,were happy with finding nothing of intrest. Keeping his hands clasped behind his back he asked the nearest thayan knight if he could be escorted too the Golem chambers.
Favorite quote : "Lets see..if they were children, Cirion would be pulling mara's pigtails , Os would be drawling on walls and Grom would be playing with matches."

The Thayan Knight looked down at the diminutive dwarf with a sarcastic grin barely hidden by his uniform helm. "You think we just take anyone into the depths of the enclave just because they ask, midget?" He asked. "The Master of Transmutation doesn't just hold open audience you know. It'll cost you 500 stags to give him an incentive to even come up here. Put your money where your mouth is, dwarf."

(( we can continue this in-game if you wish ))
Lorlen Locke: "Amazing how the righteous commit acts of tyranny and terror almost as beautiful as our own under their banner of "good". We merely call a spade a spade."

"If you can't learn to do something well, learn to enjoy doing it poorly."
