  • Re: Meta-gaming - Subsection.MapTransitions

This after a report from one of our veteran players.

I will sum it up. A character was confronted IG by a member of the Legion. The legionnaire's approach was ignored, but when pressed, the character offered threats followed rapidly by a map transition.

I have a few things to note:

    1) Sundren is under martial law. The Legion and the Hands Rule. This is just the way it is. If you are in their jurisdiction you MUST obey them or they can arrest subdue or slay you, as the situation dictates.

    2) You SHOULD NOT use a map transition to avoid conflict. If you are trying to escape, both parties should agree on a few rolls to determine if the would be runner actually escapes.

** Special note. If you think the player chasing you would not "play fair" it would be acceptable to transition first and sort it out after. If you both determine that the escape was successful, then you go on your merry way... if not, you go back and face the situation.**

    I hope this is clear.
