...?
Not had this myself.
Firechicken says there was another NWN2 update and he accepted it and now can't get on until Sundren updates.
Maybe this is related? If honour is truth and a lie is respect, then a secret is sacred.
Confide in me my friend and I shall love you like no other.

Gamespy's Master authentication is down often enough. Normally doesn't affect connecting to servers though. If you patched your game, then that may be the problem. Is the server grayed out on your list?Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.

okay no luck that time... i tried to d/c i used the ip nwn2.sundren.org. and the server did not respond... and it timed out. am i missing a password?
again, i am useing a public wifi signal... could it be a firewall issue?
i am generally pretty lost on the pc side of my partition... any thoughts are welcome
and in responce to verrath.. the gamespy server does not even list sundren at all... no greyed out no white no nothing.

Could be a firewall issue.
I've actually had the same thing happen to me about a week ago, for several days straight. After an hour or so of chatting on the NWN2 chat, the server would suddenly appear as if by magic.
My thoughts are that it's some kind of issue related to your connection to the gamespy network, which may or may not be resolved automatically with some patience.

Public wifi... it could be only allowing web based traffic on port 80 which is usually the norm. You have no control over their firewall. Wireless is an extremely poor choice for NWN2 irregardless of this. The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

hmmm i figured i had no control over firewall but i guess i was hoping i could change a permission like allowing gamespy through or some such... ah well i guess i wont be playing til i can figure this out.
oh and i have been playing almost exclusively on wireless. and for the most part things run pretty smooth. but perhaps they have a station that i can plug directly.... it's worth a shot.
thanks for all the thoughts, perhaps something will work.

There are a few things I can think of. Try contacting your ISP to see if tey havent blocked Sunden or Gamespy. I had that happen to me recently , most unpleasent. Did you update the firmware or drives on any devices recently? auto windows update? Any of thoes things could potentialy be the cause as well, if so, try rolling them back to prior versions, if not, try looking for updates you never know what can change and requires the new update to properly function for things like this. Another option: Try resetting the router, usaly just hold the reset button for 15-20 seconds should force one, if not cut the power and try that.Julia Blackstar

Sounds simple, but resetting the router via its web based control panel normally does it for me.
Its normally 192.168.1.1 to access it, password is usually 1234Originally posted by roguethreeIf I had my way, clerics would have spell failure and a d6 hit die. And Favored Souls wouldn't exist.
