Concept Arists?

I've started doing a bit of modelling recentely but what really slows me down is ideas.

I'm currently focusing on weapons and was wondering if anyone out there had any art skills they cared to share?

Rough sketches are fine too, I just need the bare bone structure

That's all I've got on this PC, my laptop has most of the arty stuff on it. I'll see if I can hook it up later.

Also, never underestimate the power of traditional art to fire your brain, I've got various books of works from Klimt, Hoper, Kandinsky, Vermeer and a shed load of others, plus many on Architecture and photography sitting around in my Library (Including some fantastic rare books from a series produced for students of The Royal Academy produced in the 1920s).

That and anatomical reference books (they are your friend for everything - It's very hard to produce convincing looking work if you don't understand at least the fundamentals of how a creature is constructed and works).
