Where to get 3.5 rules when you can't get a staff answer

Hey, usually when something weird comes up and a dm isn't around to give a yes, no or whatever the situation requires I tend to refer to the rules since it's the best I can do. I don't own all the core books and I don't most people do either but someone turned me onto a website where you can get the information you need as written.

This has come up in cases where a dm has previously given me scrolls not in the game without describing dc or effects etc...

Generally think cooperation if a DM isn't there. In other words, you might be super right! but nothing is stopping you from allowing the other person to have their attempts too. Not everyone on NWN2 is a D&D brainiac or deeply knowledgeable, so if it works for both of you, go with it, except things that will come back and haunt DM's.
