  • Cooking Recipe. for noobs.

Well now somethign for you all. If you are somewhat like me and you never have alot of time to cook (or you just plainly don't know how) or maybe you have a tight budget. this is a great recipe for you. i call it.

    (Lazy-boy-no-chew-stew)

(yes i stole the name for it.)

    Anyhoo you need:
    1 package of ramen noodles
1 can of VEGETABLE soup. (no beef stock just plain)
1/4 lb of your favorite deli meat (chiken turky roast beef bologna anything)
    1 raw egg

(spices are recomeded but not nessasry)

place the noodles and soup in a sause pan or small boiling pot and cook on high for 3 min

add 1/4 deli meat and continuesly stir cook for another 1 1/2 min

add the egg like in a poached recipe or egg-drop soup. (whiel stirring)
cook for 1 more minut or until egg is done.

there you go easy to follow recipe that costs 3$ and took 5 min to make.. enjoy.

As an additional note from personal experience, do not overcook your egg or it will make the entire thing go cloudy as it breaks up and thickens your soup.

My personal recommendation is to add it immediately after you turn off the heat, making sure the soup is still over 65°C (149°F) so that the egg will coagulate. If you feel like getting fancy, quickly mix the egg white and yolk together with a fork before pouring it in, or for a lower fat dish remove the egg yolk altogether and only add the white (62°C coagulation point).

In any case, your soup should bring the egg content over 85ºC (185ºF) for safe consumption, because under 85ºC you risk foodborne illness resulting in hospitalization or death. Cook your eggs.
