  • What is your charactor based off of?

When I think of Ashinet I think of that cheerleader from American Beauty. A ditzy girl who, talks about things she does not know.

A lost sort trying to make her place and just get a grasp on what is going on.
blame everything right in my life on god -Me.
Being insane in a sane world is alot more fun then being a sane man in an insane world. -Me
I am only what you percieve, and even that is an illusion. -Me.

        .....and Xeesheava for the win.

Peridan is based mostly off myself. I'm kind of a naive, blunt, do gooder.

Annie is based off the Voice Set "Female, Rogue"

I fell in love with it when I first heard it in NWN1 and simply HAD to have a character that fits it. I'm glad it's still available in NWN2

She has some traits I have as well, but she's her own person.

Chani... *cough* I based on Xena.

As for the others, I'm really not sure.
Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.
Chani Kalera- Intimidation is the new diplomacy. *looms*
Eleanor "Bloody Elle" Lark - Why is the rum always gone?
Yolanda Brown - If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is going to suck.
          Astrid Hammerhand - Och!

Eira is based on an ex of mine, combined with various 'ice maidens/queens' from folk stories.. The Frost Giant's daughter; the Ice Queen from Narnia; the ice queen from that folk story where the kid gets a shard of ice stuck in his heart... with a smattering of Brünhild from the Nibelungenlied thrown in for good measure.

Alexander and Giacomo are both roughly based around different aspects of me but taken to extremes.
            Eira Skald - Icy bitch.
Karsten Mannerheim - Idealist and murderer.
Vincent Hopkins - Witch Hunter and man of faith.
Aedan Gilter - Dreamer of broken dreams.
Henry L. Jones - Oh god, I can see forever.

Zim is largely an idealized version of myself.

This version of Zim incorporates the concepts of the modern military officer (Sergeant Zim from the Heinlein novel Starship Troopers) and the educated fighter (sort of like Roy from Order of the Stick).
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle." -- Frederick Douglass

Josephine is based off of myself, and then tuned with personality aspects from several of the characters from the Evangelion anime (particularly Asuka, Shinji, and Maya).

Also a bit of Anakin Skywalker, like Alyrian. (the whole concept of 'could be a great hero, but fails for a variety of self-imposed reasons').

Mithrilia's pretty much a mix of fictional characters I like alot. The air of broodiness and bluntness of Guts from Berserk but without the emoness. The cold and calculative demeanor of Olberstein from Legend of the Galactic Heroes yet also still holding onto a naive child-like dreams.

In short, Mithrilia isn't a heroine material and is more fitting to be a loyal servant or sidekick to the lord or hero she serves. Hence the reason why she always stuck around with the likes of Hano.

Aliria is her own monster, but some of the influences would be:

Brunnhild from Ring of the Nibelungs
Lux from DnD: Wrath of the Dragon God
                        Ayla from Chrono Trigger

There's probably more influences as well, but these are off the top of my head.

Hmm this is a tough one for Nocte so i'll start off with some of my other characters.

Constantine is loosely based on the character in the movie Constantine - demon hunter and holder of the law between the planes. (that was the movie with Keanu Reeves).

He also has some characteristics from me.
                            • Dalrion - Ranger of the Viridale
                            • Constantine - Adorned of Ilmater
                            • Crom - Priest of Gorm

Cazen, as he has become, combines some of the best (worst?) qualities of John "Doc" Holliday (from "Tombstone," played by Val Kilmer) and Arsene Lupin III (from the "Lupin III" anime, not the manga), with just a bit of Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden (from "The Dresden Files" novel series by Jim Butcher) thrown in to make him a "smart-ass 'til the bitter end."

Deacon Saetric is what I originally had in mind for Cazen before other people became involved in the character creation and forced some changes. He combines aspects of Richard B. Riddick (Pitch Black & The Chronicles of Riddick, played by Vin Diesel) and William "the Bloody" Pratt a.k.a "Spike" (Joss Whedon's Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, played by James Marsters). But, over-all, I imagine Deacon to be very much like what the younger version of William "Bill the Butcher" Cutting (Gangs of New York, played by Daniel Day-Lewis) must have been like before the beating he received from Priest Vallon that changed his life and lead him to that fatal (if dignified) end in the midst of the New York City Draft Riots. [Edit] In light of the lack of a defining moment, Deacon's a little...crazy. He will remain as such until defining moment is reached.

I'm still finding an identity for my "Broken One" Monk/Sacred Fist.
