  • Mac Compatible.

    I know that Gold has a mac os X compatible version, but the availability sucks. Also, is there a mac version for SoZ? I'm trying to get my friend in on sundren, but he has a mac - he might have to resort to pirating NWN Mac versions because of the horid availability D:

    I wouldn't really run NWN2 on a Mac, just a pain in the ass to be honest. Also if they are playing on Sundren they won't be able to use our updater on a Mac.

    I don't think SoZ has a Mac version yet but I could be wrong.

        Mac for Productivity, Linux for Speed, Windows for gaming.

        Simple mantra.

          Yea, seriously.

          Right now he's a full time student as a computer scientist, and I have no idea why he has a mac in the first place. I think he just needs to look on craigslist for a free PC XD

            It is reputed to work on the macintosh given certain conditions and graphical errors you have to put up with.. not sure but I think this thread I dug up might help;

              Well, I know some of the game can be played - but its nil because the reason for him grabbing the game is to play on sundren T.T

                Ahh sorry my post was useless; I really should take longer reading over things before posting.

                Apologies,

                  If your friend is willing to deal with the grief he can try getting mono to work in order to make the Sundren Updater work.

                    Haha, you're fine. I do the same thing xD

                    To saulus: At this point, he just might be. I already got one of my friends over here from wow, just trying to get the mac guy here xD

                    Maybe I should get him in here to talk about it with us - granted you guys don't mind this thread being all sorts of cluttered.

                      Hey... unfortunate Mac user here. I couldn't get my mind around Mono, so I'm wondering what would happen if I got a copy of Vista and used my computer's Boot Camp feature to run it. Would that work?
