  • Rep System

I searched the forums for an explanation of this, but couldn't find it; maybe it's buried?

Being a new player, I was just wondering if someone could tell me how this works and it's purpose. I saw something on the Skullcleavers post that alluded to trading in points? What's that mean?

And, this place is pretty cool so far; I'm enjoying it immensely and I've been on a lot of rp nwn2 servers...great job.

Reputation system is pretty straight forward. There are many factions to join in Sundren, and when joining them or assisting them, you will gain points with that faction at the DM's discretion. That means you'll be more liked, get discounts on their items, and get some RP authority with them (depending on how much faction you have with them, of course)

And, of course, joining certain factions will diminish your standing with other factions. If you join the Black Hand and become revered with them, you'll likely be hated by the Triumvirate faction. So on, so forth.

Type in .reputation in game to check out your current faction standings.

It should also be noted that the Scullcleavers are a player-initiative, and are not a representation of the actual rep-system in Sundren. They've just made a slight immitation of the system for their own creative purposes.
