I heard a rumor that players were DEMANDING free raises from DM Phantom Lamb today because they got killed by another player's actions.

• If its true,
  • Anyone that did this should be ashamed of themselves and leave right now.
  • NO ONE has the right to demand anything from any DM on Sundren except Saulus. If you don't agree with me, leave. Seriously.
  • I think DM Phantom Lamb is owed an apology, at the minimum, from anyone that abused him like this.

Pretty lame people!! If you die and if there is a reasonable enough explanation , the DM will hear you out and make a decision.If he/she decides its not reasonable , then tough luck broseph..Now demanding being resurrected, got some gall.Not only will you not be resurrected,but now you are subjected to penalties , if the DM chooses to do so.And on top of that,now you are possibly on that certain DM's shit list..Good job...Way to use that thing that sits on your shoulders..

I for one make a policy of never rezzing someone if they ask for/demand it. If I killed someone in an event where I mis-judged the power balance and it's my fault? Sure, free res no problem, but if that same character starts hurling abuse at me before I can cast it? They can kiss that res goodbye. We're here to make fun for you all. The moment we feel like we're being taken for granted or putting up with unnecessary shit? Seeya.

Among many other reasons already presented. Don't demand anything from a DM. They do a much better job at making things fun and interesting, not to mention fair than many MMO's that I have played. Have you ever tried to get help from a GM on WoW? The DMs here aren't being paid (And if they are where do I sign up?) they do this because they choose to out of the goodness...well, judging by their chars, evilness in their hearts. I haven't run into a decision made by them yet that could be considered unfair (even if it was painful).

...With all that said Could Vannie get a +8 Vorpal (DC26) Keen Transcendent Edge (the one From MotB that let you critical spirits)?
