I'm sure you're all aware of the Google cars that drive around with the cameras mounted on top taking pictures of everything for Google Maps. Well, this is some of the strange stuff the camera has caught so far.

I'm aware of this, and believe it or not it brings back a lot of memories. Amazon was the first company to attempt this, and it backfired on them when they were freely paying anyone on the internet to sort the images collected -- Starting the whole 'mturk' business.

It was something ridiculous like $0.01 per picture that was matched with an address, or if it didn't, labled as 'not applicable'. If you got paid or not depended on the most popular choice or something ridiculous.

So, of course, a lot of internet nerds got together and made a firefox script with the Monkey Grease Addon and botted Amazon for $20-40 an hour.

Sorry for that little distraction from the OT, but yeah. Good times.
