  • You never see mee...

I only seem to get on the forums to check the rumors, role-play, and the trade posts. I'm really not one for writing long, extravagant story posts myself as I spend near all my time role-playing real time as I can. Forgive me, but I seemingly lack the fortitude and imagination as some of you have who seem to keep the wonderful stories posted and fresh in the threads.

After having quit role-playing for almost two years and just returning, I'm still rather burnt out on the dredging off my character's persona onto multiple mediums. My creativity lacks and my posts suffer as a result, and that's a friend of nobody. I'm sure some of you can argue that I'm a rather stiff role-player as it is, forgive me. I agree wholly---we'll work on it.

In the future I may end up getting friendlier with forums, but I've always had an aversion to them. We'll see where that takes me then.

    Thanks for reading my: whining/moaning/complaining

You are not rigid. There is nothing the matter with how you rp.

I know how you feel though. For some reason, rp posts seem very difficult for me. Add that in with the fact that my schedule seems to b 3-4 hrs behind everyone else, and I may seem distant and just not as interested as some. True, I have taken the role of a 'supporting character' who exists not to seek the spotlight but enhance the stories of others. But, it is still dishearting sometimes.

You are just fine though. I find you very interesting to rp with and you are one of the few characters I am actually curious to see what happens next to.

Just keep up the good work, because you are doing just fine.

I could say the same, stories are not my thing either, somehow I feel that no matter what I write people will doubtly be interested about it so I just don't feel like bothering to do it.

I've RP'ed with you a few times and I think your RP is perfectly fine to my eyes.

I am not sure what you mean by "stiff", but if I got it right I should say that I personally have much more respect for people who will try to stay in RP rather than going to the social "playing myself" -behavior that it can sometimes lead to.
I don't mean this towards anyone specific but I've seen many times this "replace actual RP with modern small talk" and I truly don't like it one bit.
Of course it can go to that every now and then when you've RP'ed for hours and get annoyed to the whole thing, but sometimes that's what the chars seem to be all about, RP'ing yourself.

So keep up RP'ing as you see best fitful for your chars and I'm sure you'll do just fine.
