My connection is really crappy right now, so I am not sure if I will be able to play for the next week or weeks. I will try to get on every now and then, but I don't count on anything working.

Okay, I MIGHT be able to play if someone can tell me why my connection keeps fading in and out, especially when I try to play NWN2. Have you tried connecting with an ethernet cable instead using the wireless device? It may be your wireless device acting up/going bad, and not the internet connection at all.Akodo

Hmm... that's all I could think of off hand. If an ethernet cable didn't work that would mean your connection problem would most likely be related to either your internet connection its self (you'd have to talk to the provider) your computers ethernet connectivity, whether on board or an additional card and/or your wireless device. It's possible there could be setings that are incorrect as well, but I'd guess it to be the actual connection or a hardware problem.Akodo

Power cycle your router?
Ping several sample addresses (such as google.com) to test your connection?
If using a router, try going directly through your modem. If it works, problem found. If it still fails, than it's not your router at least!Last edited by MKartMaster; 05-29-2008, 01:14 PM.

Don't ping viperwire.net, it won't resolve to anything.
