  • A question I have to ask...

Saulus, do you ever actually log in / play the game / DM?

I wonder because I have only actually seen you on the forums, I'm normally trolling through the player lists and stuff in game, and I've seen all the DM's and players at some point, accept for you. Unless you are making it to where we can't see you on or something.

I know you are all busy with your own projects and such, but I've even seen sharrington on now and again, and he seems to always have a pretty full plate.

    I'm just curious that's all.

I don't really have the time to play. My typical day is waking up, checking my email, checking the Sundren site to make sure everything is going okay, and then going to school.

If I'm not busy working on something for a client then I'm usually relaxing (which involves playing games other than NWN2) or I'm working with a staff member or working on something server related for either Sundren or school.

Some people may wonder why I get testy with some of the less appreciated attitudes, behaviours and comments and it's simply because I continue to do this for the benefit of everyone else, not myself. I don't get the time back, but I do enjoy seeing a close community where people can fluorish and have fun in something that I helped design and bring to life.

Ahh... that sucks. That's what I always figured DM'ing would be like, I mean it seems like it would be fun to do for awhile, but I know that if I couldn't actually play the game I'd feel like I was losing something.

I've seen a lot of your posts and I got the impression that if you ran some DM events they would be really fun, lol, like many of our hard working DM's.

Well, I appreciate the work you and all of the other DM's do to make this the great place it is, I just hope eventually things will slow down for you and you can have some time to enjoy your own creation. I definitely hear you on the school front too, I finally got a break since finals just ended and it's a big sigh of relief, but now I'm thinking of taking a summer class, which will turn my leisurely summer of part time jobs and relaxation/fun into something more challenging.

Don't let the nay sayers get to you either.

I've seen you DM'ing quite a bit, recently, Saulus. You even ran a little event with some guy who's title had "Heretic" in it, and he was some profoundly powerful Necromancer or some such.

So there you have it, folks - he exists.

Necromancer? Oh man if that's what you guys think he is it's going to be even more fun to see the big surprise.

Well, he raised a corpse into a zombie, so it is reasonable to assume that he is capable of Necromancy.
