I've seen it on the cover of a book. I have the book somewhere, but I just moved and it's packed away somewhere. Unfortunately, I can not remember the name of the book either.


Ok, things like this drive me crazy when I can't remember so I just dug through craploads of boxes. The book is Crown of Swords by C.S. Friedman (decent series of books too) and the cover art is attributed to Michael Whelan. The piece was apparently contracted for the book as it is also named Crown of Swords.

The book is Crown of Swords by C.S. Friedman

I used Deadmans name references to verify the picture online. He has everything correct ALMOST. The book and picture is actually titled Crown of Shadows. The last book in C.S. Friedman's Coldfire trilogy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I hadn't slept in two and half days, i cant be expected to do mundane things like read and translate to the same language properly.
