Any battlestar ers out there?

Was watching this on SKY 1 (totally hooked) until they took took it away from Virgin Cable. I nearly cried...

I watched the old school Battlestar. I could never get into the new one for one simple reason;

PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH ROBOTS!

And if I could somehow get past this one simple premise,

PEOPLE AND ROBOTS CANNOT MAKE BABIES!

That is all. It was good up until the robot sex though.

People in real life has sex with things far worse than robots :P

...but the baby thing is kinda weird..

Aside from that, what I like about the show was that it was gritty, more down to earth, and not "SPACE IS ZE HOLY" like Star trek projects it to be

The whole "the people with NO advantage fight back and survive" appeals to me, I love that type of thing

I could never really get in to watching sci-fi shows in general, myself, but I saw this and had to make a comment.

Japan has already been working on this for awhile, give it a few more years, they are going to have things you can hook up to your computers lol. People may not have sex with robots now, but they will be, at least people who don't already have people to have sex with lol. G4 has a documentary type show they have on called Wired for Sex that talks about how technology, everything from physical things to things like the internet and cell phones, has/is effect ed/ing the way people look at and approach sex. That particular episode was pretty funny and interesting, you should watch it.
