they re-did the whole show, it resembles the origonal in very minor ways only. I think they did a hella job on it and really like the show, though i know they received a lot of backlash from the hard core fans of the origonal series.

Can't claim to be a hardcore fan... I thought the re-runs were pretty cool when I was a kid. But if you were going to remake something, why not Blakes 7? That was a way better show (go BBC!).

I've thought about watching this. Maybe I will if I get the time, but I'm not sure. After reading things like Iain M Bank's Culture novels, it's kind of difficult to suspend my disbelief in a lot of sci-fi novels/shows/whatevers.

I watched the premiere of season 4 (The final season) last night, wow was I in nerd nirvana. This is definetly in my top three all time greatest shows, an awesome series to get involved in for anyone interested.

I don't think Baltar is the fifth model Venture, only because to me that would be to obvious, like if it was revealed that he indeed was, I would be like 'meh figures'. And if there is one thing BG does it's totally do stuff you are amazed by and would have never thought!

Baltar = Space jesus, only one who knows the truth of the one true god, my theory anyways.

And no mach, the show is very little like the original, its been widely acclaimed as one of the best shows on TV and it won a pea body a few years ago, worth a watch, you wont be dissapointed.

p.s. yeah there are tons of amazing graphics too, probably some of the best TV graphics I've ever seen. Truly epic operatic space battles.

I watched the old school Battlestar. I could never get into the new one for one simple reason;

PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE SEX WITH ROBOTS!

And if I could somehow get past this one simple premise,

PEOPLE AND ROBOTS CANNOT MAKE BABIES!

That is all. It was good up until the robot sex though.

people may not have sex with robots in real life, but its a sci fi show and if you had a robot that looked like number six, well you'd wear it out. I think most of us would.

It's not a robot though. The cylon human models are simply grown human DNA with reprogrammed/brainwashed minds, with some other unknown things going on.

They are all flesh and blood, and that my Dear Cmosier you can have sex with and reprodouce. =P
