Have a name picked out, and for added effect fake a sonogram. You can get images off the internet. Ask Mom if she has any rings that have been in the family for a while.

EDIT: Better yet, do this while your girlfriend has to suddenly run to the bathroom because she "just can't keep anything down" or because she "feels like she has to go every 5 minutes."

EDIT 2: For added fun, get your Dad in on it and have him chide you for not using protection.
