I've compiled everything I ccan find in the hopes that some of it is what your specificlly looking for.

In the forgotten realms campaign setting, page 23(?), says a druid who follows the Goddess Mielikki, may wear ANY armor a ranger can wear without violating their spiritual oaths. This includes metal.

If you take the prestige class Fochlucan Lyrist, you gain the feat Unbound, allowing you to wear any light armor, even metal.

You can have armor made from dragon hide or darkwood as well.

Gairun: I was just clarifying the question to be sure that you were referring to spell casting. According to the rules, any druid can wear metal but they are just pretty useless if they do. Most people correctly presumed you were talking about what allowances would make sure they keep their spellcasting abilities.
