I can't find the answer, but I did find a reference to the "Amnesian Hero" who unlocks pieces of the Lady of Pain's history, as well as his own lost love.

Since I never bought "Pages of Pain", I can;t say for sure, but since I can't find it anywhere else, my guess is the "Amnesian Hero"

Tan'ari is a demon, it came about cuz of people accusing DnD to be Satanist or something, cuz it had the word Devil and Demon in it, and summon spells with the words Devil or Demon in it, so of course they had to be summoning devils n demons... -.-

Uhh, I think they're Baatezu (Devil) and Yugloths? (Daemon)

Tan'ari from the Abyss, Devils from the Nine Hells, and daemons or whateva, I DONT KNOW. I'm not gonna google or wikipedia to cheat.
