I've just spent about an hour or two throwing together a random webpage of my own to explain what it is I've been talking about doing in Africa for the past month or two. If anyone is interested in finding out more, you can refer to this website here which is the same one present in my new forum signature.

I won't go into any more detail here, as this is a Sundren forum and I don't want to detract from that; any information you may have wanted to know, however, should be found in the link provided, in regards to my charitable African adventure.

Alright, so I'm back. I did it. I went to Mali.

Best experience of my life, and otherwise ineffable. I was adopted into a family and given a cultural surname, opened a public health center, and... just wow.

I'm not going to go into any detail, since I doubt too many people take all that much interest, but if anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I'm also gonna put up a picture or two once I get them onto my computer in the next day or two, so that those of you who donated can see something akin to proof of my actually being there. On that note however, I'd really like to thank those few who did donate - you know who you are.

And uh, on a more Sundren-related note, I have a confession.

Seeing as how Leaving Hope has seemingly joined Mach on an extended departure from the server, my one and only character is SOL. Karthus El'than was in the hands of the Legion, and the DM's that were controlling his circumstances have all left. Karthus, for those that don't know, was facing a permadeath possibility, and until it is judged by the staff, I am unable to play him. Despite this, I want my friends here to know that I'm not leaving the server over this, as I am actually also the player of Pyras Demathos, the Red Wizard; I'm still around.

Hopefully I'll be able to bring Karthus back around, for those who even remember him, though if that never happens, you can still count on seeing a Red Wizard here and there.

Here are some random pictures from the trip. First picture is the greatest freaking kids ever, second picture... same kids, but I elected to make a dumb face which excites them every single time. Third picture was on the day the health center was opened, and then a shot of the health center itself. Then there's also the god damn giant tree, which was just so big that I had to take a picture.
