  • Mysteries of Westgate

With the imminent release of Mysteries of Westgate this week,
    9.99$ USD, digital download only
I'm curious as to just how many of you are gonna have it right away?

I myself am going to be at the head of the line, just so I can get my hands on some of the new things like new tilesets, new creature models, and most importantly... OssStudios custom functions in NWscript!

((For those that don't know, I have never made it past chapter 3 in the OC, never even played MOTB, and prolly won't even look at the adventure here either))

Unless it becomes required for playing on Sundren I probably won't bother buying it, the tile sets and stuff you mentioned sounds interesting, but I am still trying to learn to use that new engine (I miss Aurora) (and I probably won't have it figured out very soon), and being a fairly poor college student, I don't really have a bunch of money to drop on things I'll probably never use.

Yeah, I am much more excited about playing in a PW like Sundren than playin all alone in an adventure. Never finished MOTB either, but I guess I would if Sundren went down.

I enjoy a good single-player romp, so I'll probably wait until the reviews are in then see if it is worth my money. The story lines seems right up my ally though.

Even if I had the time I likely wouldn't play it. I doubt it will be better than MotB which I liked the best out of the whole NWN series.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Going to buy it, yes also interest into the custom content, like the sewer tileset. But also a singleplayer module that starts you at lvl8, yay.

And I'm looking to play a more casual module again after all the hardcore'ish pw's out there.

do you just buy it through the bioware site? I like single player campaigns, so it would be worth it for me for only 10 bucks.

Rather than starting a new thread, I'll kick this one.
