That's right, I'm an idiot! Playing on Sundren has made me fall in love with the concept of Persistent Worlds.......I said to myself "Man! Sundren is fucking awesome! I wonder what other PWs are like......" Next thing I know, I'm clicking and downloading another PW called "Arc of the Worlds". So, the files that their dowloader downloaded completely threw my game files off-balance. Neverwinter nights was no longer a part of the Forgotten Realms. Sure, I had much more choices in hair styles, and 256 colors for skin and eyes to choose from. However, in the process of downloading.....Something ticked me the hells off! I was no longer able to choose a diety! I could not create any kind of Genasi anymore! I friggin love Genasi! This was unacceptable! Even more than the fact that at char creation, a wizard would start in his underwear and a pair of boots! What in the hells!?!?!? So, now......I uninstalled the game, now I have to reinstall and download the updates before I could play again......What's worst is I am not going to have a significant amount of time to do so until this weekend! So, if you dont see my little avatars of my imagination running around, dont be surprised.

Heheh yeah, to tell you the truth I tried about 20 other server's with high populations before I found Sundren. As soon as I found Sundren though I said you know what, I wanted faster character progression, and I wanted to be able to reach level 30, and I wanted to get all kinds of epic spells and feats, but after trying things out here that didn't really matter and it seemed like that was just about the only thing other servers were offering me. My only suggestion to you is forget about the other PW's and just stay here, I don't want to knock the other servers because I'm sure that there's a server for everyone out there, but in my opinion Sundren is the best. (Also make sure that if you go to any other servers to remove the hak pak's from your folder before logging in to Sundren because hak paks are a cheap easy way for servers to add content to themselves and can cause problems with Sundren's server).

Thats one of the, ummm, annoying things about NWN2. Most every PW out there has there own content that goes in your Hak or Override folder, and the problem is they usually conflict, which forces you to be only able to play on one PW at a time. As far as ease of use for the End User it's highly annoying, especially compared to NWN1's easy as pie try out ten servers in ten minutes routine.
Now you just have to pick the highest quality PW you can, and stick with it.

I could do a lot of things to make Sundren packed again, but honestly not having so many people has been a blessing on the staff.
More people = more administrative work = more stress = less work on Sundren gets done.
When more of our work gets done like quests then I won't mind that because I'm not predisposed with big features on the server.The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I second Saulus' comment.
Personally, I think we have a comfortable number of people. It's fun logging in and seeing regulars, and it allows me as a DM to treat this more like a table top game in my garage than some MMO.Comment
