Can someone walk me through how to post an image on a post? NOT by forcing someone to click a link to another site, but by actually having it IN the post, viewable to anyone who even opens the thread, immediatly.

Lol, you n00b. Just upload whatever image you want to imageshack.us, or some other image hosting site. Then click the insert image button on your post and insert the link to the image.

You can also click the paperclip icon and add a thumbnail with a link like this.

Still kinda lame though.

Aries, when I put it up on a hosting website, everything works fine. But when I post the URL into the Insert Image option, I just get a white box with a red "X", and no image.

Use the sundren image host - (Gallery on the nav bar)

EDIT: I doubt this will help, but it'll save you having to find another site.

Ontopic, I use a photobucket. That's literally what it's become...just a freaking bucket where I drop all my images to link to in posts.
