Music, Bands and Instruments

Made this thread for the ones who like music and playing instruments, but please, express yourself about your favorite genre of music and favorite bands thou you don't play a instrument.

So, let me start!:
I am 15 (16 this year), I have played the guitar for a year, few days more then a year. I love playing both acoustic and electric guitar, I still play the electric more then acoustic. I like rock... thou mostly heavy metal. My favortie band is Iron Maiden, and I also like some others but Iron Maiden is on the top of my list.

So who is next to tell?!

I play the Bass Guitar, and have tried to learn the actual Bass, don't own one though those things are big.

I like a lot of music but I'll list some of my favorite bands.

Nightwish, Within Temptation, Leave's Eyes, Tristania.....I think you get the idea yes? I also really like instrumental stuff.

I've sung for about half my life and enjoy pretty much all music. Though I probably haven't heard most of it.
I can also play the sax a bit, though somehow I never actually do.

Within Tempation and Nightwish are fun, but I much prefer Lacuna Coil and Flyleaf.
Personal favorite bands/groups would be Lacuna Coil, Imogen Heap, Dispatch (I know, it's a college groupie band, but they are just so fun!), and Lorenna McKennit. My bf loves them all too, but he puts Ashely MacIsaac first ahead of all, and I was never able to get into his stuff quite the same.

Ooo music, one of my favorite topics ... now where to start

My music varies, alot mostly according to my mood.. so..here are a few that frequent my play list, my ICE and my I-pod

Pink Floyd - by far my most favorite group
Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Def Lep, Led Zep and Queen
Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Greenday and Electric Six

Also Enigma, Bod Dylan, Air, Nirvana and... well the list goes on and on ...

I also play the Guitar and have been know to make a racket on the drums

I used to be a member of a band, but the gigs and praccy sesh's were too much of a drain
