Anyone watch the movie? I thought it was real good.

    Spoilers.

I thought it was real sad when the dog died. Pretty much a real sad scene, the fact that hes crushing it while crying :X, and trying to hug onto it too...

Also, I don't know why he gets so mad over a moved figure or whatever that was..

I saw it yesterday. As someone who's a pretty big movie buff and watches a lot of movies... I must say I was impressed.

    Spoilers Ahead!

I thought the best part of it really was when he was looking for his dog in the dark building... and you know he has a gun but he's scared to death because he knows what's in there. I just thought it was so realistic how frightened he was, it made the scene so much more scary. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it.

Though the ending where he tosses the grenade, I mean come on... she was screaming "There's enough room in here for you too!"... He could have tossed the grenade and then went into the safe with them.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

      Spoilers

Yeah, i discussed that about him escaping. But what if he didn't want to escape? I mean, the guy was trying to commit suicide first before that red cross girl saved him. He didn't really care, everyone he knows is gone, and his dog, whos been the only person with him for what, 3 or 4 years, is dead. He'd most likely want to die anyways. Hes done his duty as getting the cure, now theres nothing really for him to live for :X.

I thought the movie was very well done and Will Smith did a masterful job. I also agree with Saulus that the part in the building was very, very believable.

I do find that the movie was very similar to the old movie with Charleston Heston "The Omega Man." Everyone dies, he is alone, and the only creatures alive are vampire types weirdos.

But, a very worthwhile watch (I am Legend).

The Omega Man was adapted from the same book, this is the third film based on the original novel, another being The Last Man on Earth.

Similiar plot to 28 Days Later too.

I Am Legend aint out until Boxing Day here, looks good though, reckon ill have to go see it... though, despite being tough and manly, if theres dog sadness in it I may get tearful- its my weakness.

He was pissed that the manaiqun(spelling?)had moved because he didn't do it, and he thought maybe he was going crazy or some shit. Turned out, vampire zombies tricked him!

                Spoilers:

Whats tarded is, they have -very- little of the blood. He doesnt even tell her how to make the cure. How exactly are they going to make more? Only he knows how to make it, and even if they do figure out, how will they spread it? capture every single one of them then inject them all? I find that hard to believe. Have fun capturing 560 million Dark Seekers O_o.

Read the Novel! "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. A true classic! Dark and moving, it's not to be missed... I'm as reluctant to watch the film as I always am when a classic sci-fi novel is adapted (and it is one of the classics), but then I think of Bladerunner and take the plunge...

hopefully the other survivors had a doctor or they were all still SOL, and the cure would be more for decendants of the those immune. Treat the new babies if they become infected... 560 mil Dark Seekers are a lost cause.
                    Good Movie.

:X, i doubt it. Sad Doggie Death is sad!

And also, well, even if they get the cure for more people, they'll always have 560 dark seekers to attack them and torment them :X

Movie was above average, performace was surprising for Will Smith.

I like to see more rangers played like that...
