Sounds pretty intriguing. Even more so that you play DnD.

Are you kidding! Its rare but alot of really cool new generation designers grew up on this stuff! That and Japanese anime, just like everyone else. They even reference this stuff as inspiration in their work, but you have too look very carefully to see the subtle references that they use which is really clever.

Most of them don't publicize it openly, because its kinda bad press...

Yeah, thx mythical crazies that played DnD and committed heinous acts of criminal intent ... more like just heinous nerdiness, of which I am most righteously guilty.

For those of us who have been with D&D since the dawn of time, and old enough to remember Avalon Hill as a stand alone company who made board war games like Blitzkrieg, we thank you.

For those of us who remember when computers were the size of a 1975 Buick, and plotter tables the size of a Ford F-150 Pick-up Truck, we thank you.

For those of us who used those ancient computing tools to create worlds and maps for the forgotten days of pen and paper gaming, we thank you.

PS, I still won't have a connection until Saturday December 29th.

            That is all.

For those of us who fried enough brain cell listening to the Dogma of Timothy Leary, so we could dream up this craziness, we thank you.

Now, get off your butts and build us a holodeck, so we can really play D&D.

This message has been brought to you by those who thank you and are old enough to remember when Rome was a Republic.

As the contractors tell me I?m a Dam Engineer (hydroelectric consulting PE). That might explain my atrocious spelling in game.

I am in IT. I have no title really that fits. I do anything from install a mouse to configure and install servers. I always had this attitude that no job is too small so I really got it stuck to me when I am the guy that does everything. I work at a commercial real estate company in Houston and get to fly to Miami, LA, Manhattan & god awful Robbins North Carolina on a regular basis to help administer these offices. I may end up being in Manhattan permanently due to them wanting to pull me up there fulltime. I make about 2/3rds the pay I should but the stress level is really low and the people are really cool to work with so the extra 3rd comes in form of that sort of payment. However they will pay if I go to NYC fo shizzle.
