I have it, beats any RPG for the past few years. A few flaws yes, but a incredibly good title.
Fret and fear, for Europe is near.

Yeah I've already played through most of it (addicted to the game in a sense). Definetly one of the best RPGs I've seen in a very long time. An instant classic.

        Agreed with both of you:

Here is one of The Witcher videos I have made:

I am planing to keep making these game diaries, about 5 mins each.

It's good to share, what do you think?

Add: Interesting two of my favorite games this year are developed from Eastern EU, STALKER and The Witcher.

I beat the game already, I should make a video of my character at the end. I have so many upgrades and he's so powerful even the final boss couldn't put me below 2000hp even when my max was 2048. I played on the hardest difficulty and the fight didn't even last more than a minute.

Not planning to get it. I don't play single player games much.

Well you'll never realize what you're missing, your loss. Though it's probably for the best, Sundren's scripting would suffer a lot if you got into the game.

So true, I have been sleeping 2 to 3 hours a day since Friday when I got it, and the whole time I have been playing this, or making videos.

haha. I find the amount of crashes with Vista unbearable though, Im now in Act 3 and the trade quarter is quite a load on the PC. But my memory is always full because Vista takes up 1GB allready ( and I have 2 )

I use Vista 64, if you have crashes it's probably because you're using 32 bit. I beat the entire game without a single crash. The only issue I had was when in heavily populated areas like the city if I was running for more than a few seconds I would get a lot of studdering. I have 2GB as well. So it's definetly something game-related. Especially considering I have the latest beta drivers as well as the latest DirectX redist, and all the Vista hotfixes for nvidia cards.

Overall considering the game just came out, I found it to be pretty well polished, a hell of a lot more than NWN2, granted CD Projekt had a few more years on the Witcher over NWN2.

Yep I use the 32bit version. also purchased a extra 2GB yesterday. Along with x64 it should run fine then. I hope I can keep the savegames. Would -really- hate to lose them.

The Witcher is first cRPG since the likes of Planescape: Torment, Fallout and Gothic 1 that really grabbed me.
Despite being marketed as an action-RPG, it is far heavier on story than most recent cRPGs and while combat is a major thing in the game I never felt annoyed by the fights (unlike NWN2's OC).

the game was like leasure suit larry with a few swords. Was fun but more of a game to see who would do the dirty with the charactor.
