Anyone going to Indianapolis for this? I'm big into board games, beyond just the RPG genre. My buddy is going, and I'm thinking of tagging along.

Side question, has there been any talk about members getting together once a year, rent a house and just play games? RP/Dice/Board/Card/Etc?
I go yearly to another servers conventions and it is really nice to meet the people. GBX (aka Snoop) was at the last one I went to... had much fun playing "fate" with him and others.
NezElandra: A former Red Blade, now roams the wilderness with the Lone wolf as her guide
Alexandra: Ever faithful (just shy of a Zealot)
Yodglum: May Kossuth's flame light your way and burn those in it!
Ash: Dusty old miner of still looking for the "mother load" on Exigo's stag
Shaving kittens: not an official sport, but fun just the same

No, we do not dress up :P
But it is nice as long as people to not expect too much from the accommodations. We typically sleep on air-beds and leave the "rooms" to the couples. We keep the costs down by cramming 20 people in a 4 bedroom (making sure the is plenty of table space so the long running games can stay out). It usually runs about $150 for a week (room and board included, transportation not).

well most are still going to school and money can be tight so we do what we can to cut costs. Think of the days on high school, where you and your buddies would stay up all night playing D&D ordering pizza. Now stretch that out to a week. Nice to for older "kids" too. Not having you "other" wondering when you will be done, of the kids, etc. We do pick fun locals too; Outer Banks, Florida (with pool), etc.
Just a thought.

I would actually be up for that. I used to live on Oak Island, NC and worked for a company that did property management (I.E. I rented beach houses to vacationers). I might know some people.... Also, I would suggest heading to the mountains and some white water rafting as available options as well. Would be fun, either way!River Swift
