Noob aid!

I was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I've been having with my web browser.

I've just got a new computer with Win8 and I'm running Chrome. When I log into the forum, it logs me out again after a number of minutes, even if I tell it to "remember me". Which is annoying as if you log out halfway through writing an RP post then click "submit" it gets lost!!

Also, I have text-message authentication for my Gmail account but even though I've ticked "Don't ask me again on this computer" a bazillion times it still wants me to enter an authentication code every time I login

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm sure it's some simple browser setting but I can't find it...

Switch to Firefox. Sorry, that is the extend of my technical knowledge on this subject.

Try Firefox. Earth-humping furry desktop icon aside, it may do a better job saving your info.

It could also be Chrome having a corrupted file.

Losing posts? Lazarus can help. Or, you can type on Notepad and c+p it to the forums when you want to preview or post.
