    Huehuehue!

    I am an avid soccer fan - avid enough where I am dragging my wife and another couple with me to Brazil to watch the US get their butts kicked this summer!

    Have any of you traveled to the Recife / Natal area? Specifically, we hope to spend time in Praia do Pipa and Fernando de Noronha. However, I hear that Fernando is difficult to make arrangements for.

    Any recommendations on places to stay, eat, sites, etc. would really be appreciated. Thanks!

      South America is not on my places I've visited map, although it's on the places to visit list. Have a good time when you go, and make a list of things to do for all the rest of us would be world explorers!

          Hey Yo ! I live in São Paulo-Brazil .Those places you are going are really great .Particulary Natal on Rio Grande do Norte state.Fernando de Noronha is one of the most beautifull island in the world.

          If you're coming for The World Cup ...Congratz! People here really love soccer and we get on a great mood when those times happen. You will really enjoy it.

          As for the places , i recomend you get a schedule on a Travel Agency , i think you can find an oficial one at the FIFA.com . My brother went to Natal once , i will ask him for some memorable places .
          Hope you enjoy!

          PS: Oh come on , the US team are getting better and better over the years , if there is a sport that everything can happen , soccer is the right one .

            I like that we are an underdog. Yes, we are getting better and better. But we are in the Group of Death. I like Germany and Ghana (they have nine players in the UEFA Champions League right now) to advance.

              HA HA ! I m afraid this year , nobody are going to have an easy path to play-offs .Only the Group F are not balanced with Messi's Argentina against Bosnia , Nigeria , Iran....Damn! How Lucky they are .
