As things fall into place it looks like I'll be scarce until about mid July. I've always been a private person and I tend to be vague on purpose. I didn't foresee a few things so I'm going to go ahead and mention a few things on my plate.

I have two vacation weeks coming up. In fact, soon, I'm going to Victorville for a few days. For those who don't know where Victorville is... If Bakersfield is the asshole of California, Victorville is the unwashed taint. If any of you are from either of these two places and are offended.... come on... you know I'm right.

I've a Sewer Conference (yes... it's a very technical field and I have to be kept up on new regulations and equipment). Three days of talking about sewage.

Kids... It's summer... Field Trips galore. But I get to dress up in 1800s clothes for one of them... I get an axe and get to start fires.

Yard stuff. I've several projects that I need to get finished.

Negotiations. This is the not so fun one. Labor Contracts are difficult. In the Public Sector, even more so. The fact that we've won one lawsuit and filed another further complicates things. They say you can't fight City Hall... Well you can and you can win, but they are vengeful pricks when they lose.

A few other private matters. Nothing damning, at least not involving me and my immediate family.

So thank you all for your help and I hope to see you later in the Summer. I'm contemplating rethinking Byrun. If or when I do, I'll probably make a few RP posts.
