    New machine

    I got my new laptop today, It is very nice. But I am a bit slow with it as it is windows 8, I am a virgin! I wanted to get any suggestions on protection, should I just get the standard Norton system? or are there other products that are better and easy to use?

    Also I am just going to down load a new copy of NWN2 to this machine, and maybe get my wife to play with me (I am sure wishful thinking), so that may take some time.

    My personal advice would be for Microsoft Security Essentials.
    Also, Classic Shell or any of the other tools that make your start button act like a start button.

    Ninite is a particularly useful tool in quick overall computer setup.

      Thanks Kit, now maybe you can help me, I bought and installed NWN2 on GOG, and when I went to fire it up I am getting an error saying something is missing. It says try reinstalling, so do I need to get rid of the first copy?

        I can't seem to get around this error! I don't really feel like hunting down all the disks either.
