  • Lappy question

    Would a laptop with 1.6 ghz dual-core run NWN2 fine? Would it be equal to a 3 ghz pent4?

    Also is this a good laptop

    HP got another notebook with a 2.0 dual core processor and 2 gig ram and a Nvidia go7800

    Played nwn2 on that one abow and had long loads and sometimes the game wasnt stable.

    I think you might get some issues with that one, id recomend 2 gig ram and a better video card.

                    You'll be fine with the above combo but keep in mind that the weakest point of that system is the graphics card, which unfortunately doesn't get much better than the 7600 for laptops right now. The 7400 will get you by just fine though.

                      Yeah I noticed that I cannot get any much higher or better. Not to mention I cannot even find a lappy like I mentioned above without customizing and for that price tag at retailers.

                      I'll probably look into snagging that one then. Thanks Saulus.

                        That one should work for you, but id recomend the one I told you about. . its the HP model abow that one I think.

                              It really depends on the software you use, but in general... No, there is nothing wrong with the operating system. I use it on my main desktop and I've had relatively few problems, and the ones I have experienced it is not the operating system at fault but rather another manufacturer .
