I just got glass carboys because as a chemist I like to SEE my reactions. I still need some wide bore plugs for the necks and then I'm good to go. I was thinking of making a spring brew, something a little fruity...maybe a light ale with orange zest? Still pretty new to the whole thing though so who knows what devilish concoction I would create.
I can't slow down, I can't hold back though you know I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good!
Belgians are a bit more labor intensive, but as far as 'fruity/floral' beers go.. They are my personal favorite. There are some great kits out there for some very unique flavors.

I'd be a beer snob but I also drink crap from time to time and am fine with that. Here are some of my favorites I'd suggest. Some of them are a bit regional and hard to get though:
Anti-Hero (IPA) by Revolution Brewery - Chicago
Farmer's Tan (Imperial Pilsner) by Southern Tier Brewing Company - New York
Two Hearted Ale (IPA) by Bell's - Kalamazoo, Michigan
Spotted Cow (Cream Ale) by New Glarus - Wisconsin
A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' (Pale Wheat) by Lagunitas Brewing - California
