    Where is GodBeastX?

    A lot of you have noticed I haven't been in game and I think I'll address this all at once.

    I've been a busy bee coding on my own personal project pretty much every free minute I get.

    I'm working on a console-style RPG and am at a critical phase in development where I need to focus. I have to deliver a prototype to a few companies to see if I can garner some licensing for an existing RPG engine, otherwise I have to design my own.

    It'll be some time before I can dedicate hours back into Sundren (Hopefully sooner than later) but I'll be checking forums for issues.

            wow, creating your own engine? intense. seems like there is so many open sourced or for sale ones that can do so much. Why ask for a privately owned one?

              Cuz they don't do it like me. Honestly, if I could grab something that did what I wanted, I would.

              I dug through tons of UI code from engines for example, and then I just sat down and reprogrammed the Windows API for OpenGL, now I have the best UI system I ever used

              I'm insane like that.

                  The Best of luck man, Engines are a pain. My old Army Roommate designed one for a game he created and he said that the engine was the biggest headache of the whole proccess, however like you said, It ran perfectly the way he wanted it to run specifically for that game making it better than any engine he could have bought, borrowed, or stole.

                      It's about 85 to 90% done. I need to come up with a few more feats for selections then I think it'll be good to go.
