  • Interesting situation:

Listen everyone: I come here to play with you guys because it's supposed to be fun. IC wise and OOC wise - we don't have to like each other, but we should. I don't know all the rules, and some others don't - they're not inherently as experienced as those who have been here quite a while - or have been shown the ropes since they started.

But I'd definitely like to keep friends that are possible if things can be - especially under scenarios that can be easily fixed by a simple tell or private message through the forums. It seems ridiculous to start drama over the small things. Not just gear - but even small rules or Ic things that may have been thought to be OOC of sort.

All in all - I'm here to have fun with everyone and if I wanted drama I'd date a girl IRL who was spoiled as an adult.

Thanks everyone - Love yo faces.

P.s. I'm very blunt and as it may come off dickish, it's just that I don't beat around the bush.

Sundren is not an MMO, no matter what GBX says. Conduct yourself with the same decency that you would among friends playing a game, and you'll have very few issues.

          As I always do? :P
(Playing with bunch of friends and I just expect tells if something comes up. )
I've never seen anyone as anything but a friend, even those I believe may dislike me. *Shrugs* Didn't care, I still treat 'em with some form of respect.

If it were an MMO I would nominate Drake for the part of Leeroy Jenkins.

Seriously, though, mistakes happen and all but it is only a game. Let's not get all heated over some 0's and 1's and try to smooth things over? Much love? Respect?

That's all I was getting at in the end. I love everyone on here as friends :P and I hate for any relationship to be harmed to the least. (I guess that's why I took it to heart so quickly.)

Don't worry, Drake's still a cool bean in my book. Even if he's a silly cool bean.
But please, keep one thing in mind for me. What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

i dislike you all. but mostly you. you know who i'm talking about. YOU. the person on the otherside of this screen. the way you comb your hair sickens me. i also dislike that local sport team you cheer on, they are terrible and not as good as my local sports team. you type too slow and your responses lack creativity. the way you always need to play characters that contradict what they should be is annoying to all, even your friends who are too polite to tell you. and your taste in music, wow. so bad. just... don't leave the server. Grinding alone in an empty server is just sad. If I know you are there standing by the campfire for me to ignore later, that comforts me. thank you.

                            Some measures to prevent drama:

                            1) Learn to separate player actions from character actions. A character may be a dick to your character, but that's not an attack on you personally. Usually.
                            2) Treat others with respect. Avoid conflict, but if you can't, seek compromise.
                            3) Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
                            4) Know the rules and house rules so you don't get into a senseless spat.
                            5) If all else fails, seek a DM to mediate and make the final decision.

I suggest we house rule Wheaton's Law as a blanket for all heated situations:
