mmmm... whatever it is, this time I won't rush to pre-order Dragon Age, fool me once shame you, fool me twice shame on me.
I'll probably wait a couple of years after release and get the "final golden" editions with all mods and expansions for 20 euros or something...

P.S. That trailer didn't impress me at all. :P

I agree, a rather unimpressive trailer, however a bit of a dragon age fan so will probably get it. Plus its one of the few video games the mrs will play too.

If I were more excited about 2 (namely the demo), I probably would have been excited for 3.

New preview from Gamescom.

It may sound bad, but I think I'm most excited from the graphics... the Frostbite engine was amazing with battlefield and it looks like they are putting it to good use to make a very immersive environment.

Sounds interesting enough and looks pretty. I normally prefer rpgs where you start off as a nothing though the concept of agents seems pretty cool. Hopefully it works well.

Sooner or later I'm gunna get it regardless.

However certain aspects of their most recent games go (Mass Effect 3's ending, Dragon Age II's repetitive dungeons) I still did find the games generally enjoyable. I also loved Hawke, and I hope that bioware gives the Inquisitor as much of a personality, and not just make him medieval Shepard.

I am excited despite being terribly dissapointed with dragon age 2. Theyve been emphasizing exploration ( no more recycled maps!) and confirmed elves and dwarves as playable races again, both big steps in a good direction i think!

I still love the Dragon Age series despite my disappointments with 2, so I will for sure be getting 3 to play it at some point.

Everyone is doing Sandbox. It's no mystery why after the success of Skyrim both Bioware and CDProjekt are doing sandbox RPGs.

Unfortunately for BioWare it just so happens that CDProjekt is beating them at their own special sauce for RPGs. (Witcher > Anything DA)

I am an unemployed Grad Student... I will be waiting until it is a lot less than 20 Euros, but I think it is only a matter of thyme considering how much I enjoyed the first game in this series.
