Hey guys. I recently got to thinking about the retrieval of one's NWN 2 online password. And, if one would actually need it to get on now. With Gamespy no longer around, how would one go about finding their password for NWN 2 online? Any thoughts on this would be great.

Don't need one, you just type in your gamespy login and wait for it to time out.The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Open up C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc
Open up "hosts" (not "hosts.msn" or anything else) in Notepad
Add the following lines to the bottom of the page:
0.0.0.0 nw2master.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwn2.master.gamespy.com
The box will still show up for authorization, but it will immediately mark the connection as a failure, allowing you to continue.Comment

I'm asking this because QA's been asking to borrow my laptop to get on Sundren, but before I let him, I want to be assured that I'll be able to get on as me after he's done. It does. If you log with one key onto another account you will not longer be able to act on each others corpses. Once I logged in on another players machine and now we can no longer rez each other.Comment
