Neverwinter Online - WOOT!

I paid for a founder pack and got into the Open Beta weekend. Wow, this game is hella fun as MMOs go. They did a VERY good job of translating D&D 4E mechanics into something actually enjoyable to experience and play. So many little things that make it fun.

I'm planning to run a RP Guild and such for the game and even got a site setup. If anybody is interested in joining in, hit me up!

The fun thing is that there's another thread started by another DM called "Neverwinter Online - The suck meter just went up", Oh well, I guess to each his own. xD

Anyway, I will try it for sure, since it's free. I'm not getting any of the packs and most likely I won't be paying anything at all on it, but hey, as long as it's free and it's DnD I'll play as long as I can. :P

My only concern so far is that apparently one handed axes are not implemented yet *grumbles*

There's a lot not implemented quite yet. All the classes/race options weren't available, etc, but wow did I enjoy it.

It crapped all over GW2 for me.

Can't comment too much on that. GW2 for me was out of the radar as soon as I heard there was no tanking on it.

Star Trek Online was rather bare when it first came out and they fleshed a lot out as they went along.

God I wish I would have known this before I played. Dungeon crawling was soooo stupid in GW2, like none of the devs ran their own dungeons.

Until there is a replacement for NWN2, I wont be getting anything else. By replacement I mean a game that is NWN2 only better. Set in FR. In other words it may never happen. Ever.

I'm holding out for a Pathfinder video game.

Well, Pathfinder Online successfully funded on kickstarter, but it's really more like Eve Online set in Golarion rather then Neverwinter nights using Pathfinder rules from what I've read.
