    Extended leave of abscence

    Brendig86 here, just wanting to let everyone know that I am going to be absent for an extended period of time, as I am going to Navy boot camp in just a few days. This is also why I have been mostly absent from the server the last week, so as to avoid getting entrenched in some form of RP I wouldn't be able to continue for some time.

    Navy boot camp is two months long, and afterwards I will be going to school for training as a Corpsman, which is Navy medical for those that aren't familiar with the term. Schooling will last 19 weeks, and there will likely be some additional schooling when I specialize. I will not be able, in any way, to be reached while at boot camp. Afterwards, I will attempt to get on the server when time is permitting. I will be making a few roleplay posts before I leave so that my primary characters aren't simply disappearing.

    Well, that's all really. I'll hopefully see you all in a few months with a new career.

        Good luck!

        Check out Independent Corpsman School in the future. I highly recommend after your first enlistment, if you like it, to strongly considering applying to become a Physician’s Assistant. You will always be employable, anywhere in the world.

        Remember... it’s not the destination that counts - It’s the journey. Have fun on this RL adventure.

                  Good luck. Navy Corpsmen are a Marines best friend when the s**t hits the fan. I used to always keep one around. Hope to see ya back in game again.

                    Have fun at Battle Stations ... in my day we had to run from one end of the base to another and back again for each event ... now it's mostly all in a single building. I remember being so freaking tired that when we got to the event of removing torpedoes from a "flooding" room I took off my rain jacket and let the Ice Cold water invigorate me.
