The final season goes a little bit "weird" or at least a little bit more "weird" than normal and, for me at least, took a little bit of adjusting to. But all in all an excellent show about science fiction subject matter and of course it comes with one of my all time personal favourite characters in any t.v show, the legendary Mr. Walter Bishop.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Farscape, I believe I've already watched the whole series. Fringe is another I could never really get into, same goes for Dr Who, though my friend would possibly beat me to death with her 1Tb hard drive of Dr Who if she heard me say that...

I will have to take a look at Falling Skies, Orphan black, Spartacus, Supernatural and that older one Carnivale (I'd never even heard of it before but the idea behind it appeals to me).

Also looking back at older posts here, I will get around to Cowboy Bepop some day Peridan! It has a pesky way of popping up in the top 10 anime of all time lists ><

Yes! Attack on Titan is currently the only anime I'm really following; story is interesting + animation is great.

Ok, so finished watching Falling Skies, pretty good show, though still has another season to go I think.

Now I am on to American Horror Story (I think that's the proper name, I watch it on a Chinese website). I've only seen season 1 but it's great so far!

Less Sci-Fi vibe, I can tell you that the new Dracula show that plays after Grimm on broadcast tv is interesting so far (it's only 2 episodes in, and I watch it on Hulu).

I think you mentioned watching The Vampire Diaries, at some point? If you haven't already, STOP. Go check out "The Originals." It's a spin-off show, and it's much more mature and interesting than it's predecessor. Also from CW, they revamped The Tomorrow People (I don't know how many here are old enough to remember the original one). If you like super-power shows, it's pretty nifty.

Revolution was a good sci-fi show...until the stupid magical necklaces got brought in. (yes, I know they're not magical) Seriously, that ruined that whole show for me.

Defiance looks interesting, but I can never seem to catch it. As always, YMMV.

I like the Vampire Diaries, and I think The Originals will make more sense if you watch at least through last season (season 4) of TVD first, since half the main characters are introduced and developed from season 2 on of TVD. So far, The Originals is a much more interesting show than the current season of TVD, though, so if you want to drop it after the episode where the incoming spinoff becomes obvious (like, 1 or 2 eps before season 4 ended) you can do that.

The episodes for both shows current seasons are available on Hulu, but only for a limited time, so you might have to watch a few of them sooner rather than later if you don't want to have to find another place to watch them.

I don't know everyone's financial situations, but $8 or $9/month for Hulu (and Netflix, if you got that route) is a lot cheaper than cable, in most cases.

I have Hulu Plus, those shows still expire. That's why I mentioned it.

But that's what me and the hubby do, Netflix and Hulu Plus rather than cable.

I throw in Amazon Prime as there are a good number of shows that only Amazon has. It is actually cheaper then Hulu or Netflix as well. $79 a year (=$6.59 per month). Between those three services I rarely want for things to watch.

Originals. Hell yes! Elijah is the coolest. Intelligent, honorable and gentlemanly but completely ruthless when he wants to be. It's way better than Vampire Diaries, which is just getting silly now...3 simultaneous dopplegangers of Elena? Reeeally?

Also "Oh hey Bonnies dead lets just find someone to die so we can trade and bring her back". Ok....then why do witches ever die? Wouldn't they just kill some random person/enemy and use the death to bring their own family or friends back to life? :S

I can understand how she brought Jeremy back as that involved some Epic magic, dropping the veil etc etc but now it just seems too much like death is a revolving door.

Do you know if there is a second season? I just finished watching the first, it was great! The story is weird but I really wasn't expecting what happened in the last few episodes it had me totally hooked.
