    BRB Beach!

    HolyMan and I are going to LA (Lower Alabama,) and we'll be gone until Sunday evening. Our plans include avoiding the sun as much as possible, eating as many oysters as possible, and trying to break the "FoogooFish gets some type of food-related illness" cycle that has marred the past two beach trips. (Seriously... one year I got major food poisoning; last year I discovered I was allergic to crab - who knew?!)

    Post here to wish us funtimes and/or to request for us to eat an oyster on your behalf.

      Allergic to crab?! But they are so delicious (a lot of work to eat though ).

        Staying out of the sun, coming out at night and eating seafood. That's how I'd do it

        I wish you both a fantastic vacation. Enjoy the oysters and DO let me know if there's any other particular unique/tasty seafood dishes either of you two come across. I love seafood....

                No bikini shots! Not this year, at least. The weather was horrible for the duration of our stay. HM and I were relegated to shopping on Thursday because our outdoor plans were rained out. Friday we managed to get to some of the stuff we wanted to do, but the weather was hot and humid and miserable. We came back a day early because there was little use in staying when all we could do was stay indoors. We can do that here! =P

                We ate plenty of oysters for everyone (as well as other delectable foods!) and had a grand ol' time despite the disagreeable weather. Here's some pics from our trek to the USS Alabama (BB-60), a WWII battleship that is now a floating museum in Mobile. We also visited the aviation museum and the USS Drum (SS-228), a teeny tiny submarine also in the bay.
