Is there a mirc room or something of the sort people hang out in while in game? I've been searching through the forums for a post about it, but I have a real short attention span and haven't found one yet.

Sundren had a pretty active IRC room once, a long time ago. Even TeamSpeak.
But our medium being on the internet... there was something of a shift in being able to spontaneously express ourselves with IRC/Teamspeak versus being able to potentially put more thought into a written post before submitting it.

The teamspeak is still available, for those that do wish to use it.
As Zob said, many don't. But the option is still there for those that wish to use that medium while they're in game for RP or OOC.

What GBX does with his ventrilo is not sanctioned in any way by the Sundren team and not the official channel if you want to interact with other players.
We are not going to foster cliques with that sort of thing anymore, and it doesn't need to be mentioned here.The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Hey, thanks for the responses! I'll be in the teamspeak room if I'm feeling chatty for anyone that wants to ooc chat some while gaming. Not looking to clique up, just talkative. But I understand how that can lead to problems.
