Over the last couple weeks, the server's had a habit of spitting out players and then pretending it's behind a firewall. Random timeouts and so on.

What do you think causes that, then? The server will randomly spit out X number of players, leaving Y players logged into the server and X unable to log back in for a time until the server decides it's not firewalled anymore.Originally posted by CornutoComment

on a different note, since the planned outage yesterday I've have server response timeout boots probably about 5 or 6 times in about 4 or 5 hours of play. (all players get booted btw)
Just wanted to make sure folks know that's going on in the past 12 hours.
PS-- that same thing that rogue is talking about happens to me on occasion... it gives me a chance to actually get up and go to the bathroom.Active Characters:

There's a firewall issue yet to be rectified, unrelated to the first one you guys are describing.
That will be resolved sometime today. A friend of mine wanted to try the server out and he had to use direct connect, using the IP to the server because it wouldn't show up in the server list.
I hope that issue has to do with what is stated above. If not, you're informed now.
