  • Sundren's Powerful Concept Builds

    imp disarm = waste. use the level 3 TK feat for gwf unarmed.

    also, you need to start with 17 dex, 13 Int for disarm.

      Greater Weapon Focus (Unarmed Strike) requires 8 levels of fighter.

        the wiki and character creation screen says the TK can take any feat with the exception of weapon spec (which requires 4 levels of fighter) so if that were the case, I don't think they would say "with the exception of WSpec". I could be wrong.

          Not sure! The DEX/int thing was corrected though, so thank you.

            As long as that thayan knight is only using unarmed when their longsword is missing and they have no other sword nearby.
            The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

              Conveniently find reasons to not use longswords at every turn, like me destroying them.

                  Rage and leave on improved power attack, an undeath ruin scythe is essential.
                  Also, IDK if this build will work on Sundren or not, seeing as to how I just thought it up.

                      @Butcher

                      On a Pali of Mystra Sorc/EK build you'll want to take the 6 Sorc lvl's first, I found this to be the best way by the 6th incarnation of Dante (My Pali/Sorc/EK) Then take the 4 lvl's of Pali, then EK...of course the 13 int requirement really hampers the entire build *Glares spitefully at Kael*

                      I would Probably try for:

                      16 Str 20 str with a bastard or great sword puts you on a good lvl of dmg
                      10 Dex (you can buff this)
                      13 Con (boots of hardiness is +1 or you could just do 12 and use Bear' Endurance)
                      13 Int (you only need this for CE...thats it... you get enough skillpoints for the build regardless)
                      8 Wis (if you didnt have to bump int you could have this at ten *glares some more*)
                      and everything else into Cha (and obviously!)

                        Favoured Soul 20!

                        (Sorry, couldn't resist. )
                        Running across the mountains, attacking with an oversized scalpel, cometh Helga Great-Wyrm! And she gives a mighty bellow:
                        "Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! You are made of meat and I am very hungry!"

                          I wasn't able to get these stats at character creation, as a human. The only thing that's truly important about the Paladin/Sorc/EK build is taking the 4th level of paladin on a feat level, after Power Attack, so you can take Divine Shield and not mess up your EK requirements.

                          In my head, the most important thing to level at lower levels is AC, so the ability to Mage Armor + Shield + Full Plate + Heavy Shield seemed like a good idea. However, if you have had a bad experience in trying this, I might switch it up.

                            Stop power building Root :P

                            @Butcher: I would say drop PA from the feat lists unless you really want cleave and your AC will be high enough without a tower shield (Your AB is already hurting from the sorc lvl's)...take extend spell early (I cannot stress the importance of this one enough) Exotic Weapon Prof (Bastard swords do a nice amount of dmg even with a low str build)....and toughness (Also highly stress this one) {would have suggested all this earlier but it was 3:30 A.M and I wasnt all there}

                              Power Attack is a prerequisite for Divine Shield, an instant action and a great +8 to AC for 8 rounds at 20, with Eagle's Splendor (or a +3 CHA item).
